What is Pencak Silat?

Pencak Silat is a blanket term for a martial art that originated in Southeast Asia. In 2019, Indonesia was inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNENSCO – United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization.
